A fake about a Putinist grandmother from Kurshchyna who refused to be a humanitarian in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The other day, Russian propagandists shared a video on social networks and messengers where a grandmother in Kurshchyna allegedly refuses a humanitarian attack offered by the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This causes a quarrel – the military threatens to kill everyone… This is a fake – another masterpiece of the stepsons of Solovyov-Skabeeva-Simonyan. Further in the material, what signs even an average user can use to understand that he is facing a cheap propagandistic fake.

Fake

First, it should be noted that the distribution of falsified production videos is one of the popular propaganda techniques used by the Kremlin’s disinformation machine in its hybrid war against Ukraine. Also, from the experience of our project, we can say that fake videos are used by propagandists in waves. Yes, one of these was observed at the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023. The next one is at the end of 2023.

As a rule, such waves “cover” some topic. This is the “barbaric” treatment of servicemen in allegedly Ukrainian units – in order to intimidate civilian men, disrupt and discredit mobilization. These are the “atrocities” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against civilians, Russian prisoners of war – in order to show the “Nazi” face of the “Kyiv regime”.

It is very likely that the other day the bunker dictator’s information spies launched another wave of falsified videos about the “thieves” and “barbarism” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kurshchyna and the “heroic resistance” of “local violence”, because more than one such video appeared in a few days.

And, paradoxically, this is precisely the evidence that neither the “atrocities” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine nor local resistance exist. Because the golden rule of propaganda is to create a parallel reality where the reality does not meet the needs of the Kremlin and breaks the entire fictional picture.
