Fake that Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling was included in the base of the “Peacemaker”

Fictions of Russian propaganda often go beyond common sense. This time, agitprop decided not to reinvent the wheel and launched another fake using a photo of a foreign actor. So, the other day propagandists spread the information that the actor Ryan Gosling was added to the “Peacemaker” website.

Spoiler: no, Ryan is not in the “Peacemaker” database, but in this way the Russians wanted to divert attention from their epic failure, because it was the propagandists who first posted a photo of the actor who “died heroically near Kursk.” But about everything in order.

Fake

Several Russian Telegram channels shared screenshots allegedly from the “Peacemaker” website. This is a Ukrainian website and public organization that investigates the signs of crimes against Ukraine’s national security, peace, human security and international law http://surl.li/zaetag.

These images show the Russian war criminal Goslov Rodion Timofiyovych. And it seems nothing surprising, but a person who is interested in show business will immediately recognize the Hollywood star Ryan Gosling in the photos. http://surl.li/oyvctg

On the screenshots, the actor is depicted in a Russian uniform, and in the text it is indicated that he was liquidated in the Kursk region on August 31, 2024.

The propagandists ironically emphasize that “the Ukrainian Bander site “Myrotvorets” has finally lost its mind and brought in the American actor Ryan Gosling” – they write in their posts in the original language.

Using the search on the “Myrovorets” website, you can indeed find information about Goslov Rodion Timofiyovych, but there is no photo of Ryan Gosling on the page. A completely different picture is published there. http://surl.li/npoqgp

In addition, the descriptions of this Russian soldier do not match: at least, there is no date of his liquidation on the “Peacemaker” website. After digging into the Russian public, we found out that it was the Kremlin propagandists who miscalculated a little, although rather epically, with another fake. Thus, at the beginning of September, a post appeared on enemy platforms about the heroic “feat” of Rodion Tymofiovych Goslov, who apparently destroyed a whole group of Ukrainian soldiers near the village of Korenevo in Kurshchyna and died himself. And the accompanying photo shows the same photo of Canadian film actor Ryan Gosling in military uniform.

So, it is obvious that it was not the “Peacemaker” website that “finally went mad”, but the Kremlin propagandists.

CONCLUSIONS

Actor Ryan Gosling was not included in the “Peacemaker” database. The Hollywood star has never been a military man. He has been involved in strengthening peace in Africa for more than ten years. He visited Chad, Congo, Uganda, where there were military conflicts. http://surl.li/zrbrxa

At the same time, it was propaganda that broke through with another fake, using a photo of the actor as a “heroic Russian soldier who died in Kursk.”

Such fake posts are aimed at the zombified Russian population, which has no alternative sources of information. With such messages, propagandists try to portray Ukrainians as uneducated and unintelligent, justifying their crimes.
