Russian propaganda systematically and regularly pedals the topic of alleged illegal actions of CCC representatives in the performance of their official duties. Isolated cases are scaled up, spread to a wide audience, forming a negative image of this structure. So the other day, propagandists spread a manipulative post that a monument was allegedly installed to “man-trappers from the CCC”. Such presentation of information is a distortion of real facts and an emphasis on the negative.
Manipulation
One of the top propaganda resources “Ukropsky Fresh” spread a message with the following content: “A memorial to the dead workers of the CCC has appeared in the Poltava region. The kingdom of absurdity. A memorial in honor of man-trappers and torture masters. Are there any monuments to Gestapo officers in Germany? Although, given modern trends, we may soon see something like this in Ukraine.” https://surl.lt/mansqp
Propagandists abuse the same widespread message about the negativism of representatives of the TCC, comparing them to the Nazi “Gestapo”. Such a presentation incites hatred and hostility towards these people, among whom a significant number are war veterans. And many former employees of territorial centers died defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.
The information about the real event itself spoke about honoring the memory of such servicemen.

“These are seven servicemen who worked in the department since 2014. Some of them died from wounds. There is a person who died of a heart attack. But in general, 90% of the employees of the Kobelyatsky CCC participated in hostilities,” said the acting mayor, secretary of the Kobelyatsky City Council, Vasyl Kyptiliy.
The memorial plaque was installed to honor their memory. The plaque was opened by servicemen, representatives of local authorities and clergy.
