Fake that in Vinnytsia children are forced to donate blood for the military

Kremlin propagandists spread the fake news that in Ukraine, the military forces schoolchildren in Tomashpol, in Vinnytsia, to become blood donors for soldiers wounded during an operation in the Kursk region. As “proof”, the propagandists add a photo of a young man donating blood in the classroom.

However, in reality, in Tomashpol, blood was not taken from children for the needs of the army. What actually happened within the walls of the local school – we will tell you further.

Fake

Agitprop began dispelling the fake news that blood was allegedly taken forcibly from children for the needs of the army in Ukraine. At the same time, it is emphasized that minors were forced to become blood donors by the military themselves.

In particular, according to the propaganda, in the village of Tomashpil, Vinnytsia region, the commander of the 22nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly came to the local school for donated blood and threatened and even beat the director of the school.

“The commander of the 22nd Ukrainian motorized military brigade, Colonel Vladimir Pypka, began to collect children’s blood for the treatment of soldiers wounded in the Kursk region.

He broke into the director’s office and after persistent negotiations with the use of brute force received permission to use the children’s blood for the benefit of the brigade. As Pypka said, “his brigade suffered during the attack on the Kursk region of Russia.”

According to eyewitnesses, the soldier threatened them for about an hour, and the director was beaten. As a result, the school management was forced to allow children to donate blood for the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the post reads in the original language.

It should be noted that the 22nd brigade is indeed fighting in the Kursk region. http://surl.li/btjiwv

As for the publication, it is accompanied by a photo of a young man donating blood in the classroom, because in the background of the photo, a school blackboard and desks can be seen.

However, in fact, the photo, which is reproduced by propagandists, was taken on Donor Day, which took place on August 22 in the Tomashpil community. On that day, a blood collection point was set up in the local lyceum, where a visiting team from the Vinnytsia Regional Blood Service Center worked.

The local group on the social network reported that community residents, military personnel, community leadership, employees of state institutions, services, organizations, village council elders came to donate blood. And the collected blood will be used for civilian and military needs.

Photos from the event were also added to the post, including the one distributed by the propagandists. However, none of the others have children. Only adults who have decided to become blood donors voluntarily can stand in line and donate blood. http://surl.li/dgnyhj

We would like to add that in Ukraine, only people 18+ who have passed a medical examination and do not have contraindications determined by the Ukrainian Ministry of Health can become blood donors. http://surl.li/hymgip

CONCLUSIONS

The military did not force the students of the Lyceum in Tomashpol to become blood donors for the Ukrainian soldiers who were injured during the operation in the Kursk region. In the photo distributed by propagandists, adults who voluntarily decided to donate blood for civilians and military during the Donor Day in the community.

Such fakes are spread with the aim of discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to downplay the successes of the Ukrainian military in operations in Kurshchyna.
