Hostile propaganda is spreading false videos with an alleged serviceman of the 114th separate territorial defense brigade, who “calls on Ukrainian servicemen to go to Kyiv”. This is far from the first such attempt – the Russian propaganda machine has actually put on stream the production of fake videos discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The “information” spread by enemy channels was verified in the 114th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the AFU. According to the brigade’s leadership, servicemen of this unit are not involved in the creation of these videos. There is no soldier in the brigade who is present in the video and who is being presented as their serviceman.
The man in these videos is probably a Russian actor, and the recordings themselves were created by the enemy to destabilize Ukrainian society.
It should be noted that in the Russian Federation, a number of creative agencies and theater studios are operating with the money of the Ministry of Defense, which participate in the production of content. One of them, the Krylya studio, receives funding from closed items of the Ministry of Defense budget and specializes in filming content about the Ukrainian military.
The distribution of such appeals is part of the Russian information operation to incite protests in Ukraine and split society along the “civilian-military” line. The 114th brigade continues to repel the enemy on the hottest areas of the front, in particular in Kupyanske.
